Play Co-Ordinator 

From Monday 24th February 2025, we require a dedicated and motivated Lunchtime Lead & Play Co-Ordinator.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Lead the Midday team in organising lunchtime activities and rotas for outdoor/indoor/wet play duties
  • Set up lunchtime ‘zones’ to encourage children to be involved in games and activities
  • Support the midday team in allocating staff to certain zones
  • Develop and oversee lunchtime opportunities and zones
  • Ensure the school grounds are left in a clean, tidy & respectful manner following lunchtimes
  • Liaise with the Senior Leadership Team on any matters arising during lunchtimes
  • Report any safeguarding incidents via CPOMs and use EPraise to log pupil’s behaviour on behalf of the midday team

In addition, you will:

  • Be a positive role model to children
  • Promote the highest standards of behaviour including encouraging children to have an active, healthy lifestyle and promote good table manners
  • Operate effectively within a team
  • Have a calm and confident manner
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have a desire to help children become successful

Working hours will be from 12noon to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday
